What’s your biggest skill?

For most people, their biggest skill is complaining. I’m talking about employees whose entire energy and focus are on complaining about managers, the company, and almost everything around them.

You have to understand a very simple thing: there is no perfect organization, no perfect manager, no perfect CEO, and no perfect people. Everywhere you go, you will find things you don’t like. Once you understand this, the best thing you can do is focus on your skills and try to be your best.

Before complaining, ask yourself this question: How much am I giving to the organization? Am I really producing results that make them afraid to lose me? If the answer is yes, and you’re not fooling yourself, and the organization still doesn’t value you, then there are plenty of other places that will appreciate your efforts and would be thrilled to have you. But before you go, make sure you have an honest answer to that question.

This is just a reminder to myself.
